Unexpected Beauty In Saskatchewan

Sometimes a place overwhelms us with unexpected beauty. Saskatchewan is one such place. When our friend Julian of Go-Van reached out to us wondering if we were up for a vanlife meet up in Saskatchewan, we exclaimed YES. Followed by Saskatche-WHERE?

Saskatchewan is a prairie and boreal forest province in west-central Canada that we had never been to. And I could probably have counted how many times I had heard the name Saskatchewan on one hand.

In Saskatchewan we…

slowed down…

connected in community…

became prairie pirates on the dirt roads…

played in the Great Sandhills…

ate Saskatoon Berries…

and were roadblocked by a bison.

Saskatchewan filled our wondering wandering souls. We are so grateful for the opportunity to explore this lesser visited region on Earth.
